Two-time reigning MVP Nikola Jokic finished second and Bicks Giannis Antetokounmpo finished 3rd.
Embiid led the NBA in scoring with a 33.1 average while grabbing 10.2 rebounds per game. The award was renamed the Michael Jordan award after the Bulls great.
